Original Release Date: August, 2009

Thomas G(arcia) starts making music as a drummer at the early age of 14. He plays in various Rock, Funk, Jazz, Soul and Hip-Hop formations. When he's around 18 years old he starts a band called Afterfunk with 5 Parisian buddies. All bandmembers are heavily influenced by the 80's funk sound. After a few concerts and some demo's, which never led to any record deals, the band splits up in 2001.

Thomas then joins Express Coffee, a band that mainly performes on soul- and funk theme parties. They even release a single entitled Miss Funk in 2003 but without commercial success.

The last few years Thomas has been focusing on his career as a composer, producer and solo artist. This led to the releases of 2 albums, Dance On The Groove (2005) and Eighties (2006) on which he plays all the instruments accompanied by a group of gospel singers.

In 2007 Thomas G teamed up with female vocalist Swade. They produce 2 albums together. Back To The Funk (2007) and My Name Is Swade (2008). After that Thomas gave it a try as solo artist. The album, entitled Influences, was entirely recorded in his home studio and features, besides his own voice on lead and background vocals, some amazing insturmental tracks and also 2 tracks with Swade on lead vocals.

In August of 2009 the two teamed up again for a new EP which is only available on vinyl. The Spirit contains 4 brand new tracks, a 12" remix and a bonus megamix. This is without a doubt another fine addition to their ever growing repertoire.
